Our students become well-rounded critical thinkers who have examined women, gender and sexuality in relation to race, class, national identity and ability, and how those factors work in diverse communities and cultural/historical contexts. They enjoy careers in a wide array of fields.

Minor in Women & Gender Studies

The minor in women and gender studies offers students a rigorous but flexible program of study that examines women, gender and sexuality in relation to race, class, national identity and ability, among other variables. Students explore the ways that gender and sexuality work in diverse communities and in different cultural and historical contexts.听

Academic Plan & Requirements

To earn the minor, students must complete a minimum of 21 credit hours in approved women and gender studies courses, 12 credit hours of which must be upper division. The minor is open to all undergraduate students at CU 色吧亚洲, regardless of college or school. Required course topics include:
