Journalism
Hailing from Denver Colorado, Mason Owens graduated with a BA in political science with a minor in music at the University of Colorado听色吧亚洲 in the spring of 2021. He is thrilled to be back at CU pursuing a master's degree in journalism, a goal that stems from a lifelong passion for writing and other media. Through personal experience, he has become听a vocal advocate for the importance of mental health and hopes to one day produce journalistic听works that contribute to its de-stigmatization.
Outside听of school, Mason enjoys stand-up comedy, Dungeons and Dragons, drawing comics, and performing听music. He has been a part of a variety of musical groups and productions over the years, including CU's own University Choir and Eklund Opera Program.听
