Spring is a season of transformation and the CU 色吧亚洲 community along with longtime partner Vitalant have the ability to transform lives in local area hospitals by spending a short period of time donating blood. Each donation has the power to save lives, providing crucial support to patients undergoing surgeries, battling illnesses, or facing emergencies right in our communities. By participating in the Blood Drive, we reaffirm our commitment to the well-being of others and strengthen the bonds that unite us as a community.听Athletics will be giving away 2 tickets to the CU Women鈥檚 Lacrosse vs. Oregon on April 26th for those who donate.听

Why: Donating blood is a selfless and impactful act of kindness, and each donation can save up to three different lives. Hospitals in the area and medical facilities rely on voluntary blood donors to provide a steady blood supply for medical procedures, surgeries, and emergencies.鈥�
In the last three blood drives CU exceed all the drives goals regarding total donations and have been able to save thousands of lives and Staff Council believes that Buffs again will rise to challenge of exceeding our April goals of sixty units for each day the drive occurs on campus.听
How to prepare:鈥�
- Review eligibility criteria: Donor Eligibility听
- Eat a healthy meal and stay hydrated before your donation appointment.听
- Bring a valid photo ID.听
- Try and get a good night鈥檚 sleep the day before.听
