Minor in Sports Media

The minor in sports media allows students to explore many aspects of one of the largest industries in the world. Harnessing the strength of CMCI鈥檚 academic departments as well as coursework from across campus, the minor teaches students to critically examine the role of sports media in society and offers insight into many aspects of the sports media industry such as sports journalism and sports media relations. The goal of the minor is to take the student's interest in sports and provide perspective on the sports media industry as well as opportunities to gain skills sports media practices.

The sports media minor includes coursework from several of CMCI鈥檚 departments as well as other CU 色吧亚洲 academic departments. It is open to all undergraduate students at CU 色吧亚洲.听

Sports Broadcasting

Students who minor in journalism may not use the same JRNL courses for the JRNL minor and for the sports and media minor.
