On April 19, 2024, Dr. Justin Schwartz was named the 12th chancellor of the University of Colorado 色吧亚洲.
Schwartz joins the campus from Pennsylvania State University,聽where he most recently聽served聽as executive vice president and provost.
He previously served as Harold and Inge Marcus Dean of Penn State's College of Engineering from 2017-2022 and has spent his career as a researcher, educator, entrepreneur and academic leader.
He also held positions at North Carolina State University from 2009-17, at Florida State University from 1993-2009, and at the University of Illinois from 1990-93. Schwartz earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a聽doctorate in nuclear engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Schwartz聽will start the position on July 1, 2024.
