The Society of Environmental Engineers (SEVEN) is a resource for students to connect and explore applications of environmental engineering. Through tours, panels, group activities, and other events, we focus on four main pillars:Ìý

  • Professional development. We network with faculty and industry professionals exploring options for internships and potential careers and branding one's self through professionalÌýpresentation and a well-devSEVEN Logoeloped resume.
  • Service. We focus on developing our engineering skills and giving back to the community through local, small-scale projects around É«°ÉÑÇÖÞ and the surrounding area.Ìý
  • Community. SEVEN is a social outlet to connect with peers and enjoy fun, communal events and activities.Ìý
  • Education. Given the interdisciplinary nature and wide applications of environmental engineering, we value the exploration of different focuses within the industry, including water resources, air quality, remediation, energy, applied ecology, chemical processing, engineering for developing communities, sustainable agriculture, and more.Ìý

SEVEN is an affiliated student chapter with the , creating valuable opportunities for additional networking, exploration, and participation in annual competitions focused around the water industry.Ìý

As a member, your time commitment is flexible, tailored to what you would like to get out of your experience-- holding a leadership position, participating on a committee or project team, or simply attending a few events.
