The Interdisciplinary Certificate in Writing requires a minimum of 18 hours, and more typically 19 hours, in the specified certificate curriculum (see below), with at least 9 of those hours at the upper-division. Certificate candidates may not apply more than two courses (6 credit hours) from their major. Students granted the certificate will have earned at least a “C” in any Certificate course, and will have averaged at least a “B” across all Certificate courses.
